A/F.O.T.T.® | Advanced Courses
The three to five-day F.O.T.T.® Advanced Courses focus on a specific topic, building upon the F.O.T.T.® Ground Course.
These courses are designed for participants who have completed a F.O.T.T.® Ground Course.
Overview
Two F.O.T.T.® Advanced Courses are each focused on one of the following topics
- Therapy of the facio-oral tract in patients with a tracheostomy tube
- Assessment and treatment of patients with acquired brain injury with focus on Clinical Reasoning
In all courses, the theory learned is put into practice right away.
If possible, they take place in interprofessional and multidisciplinary course groups.
The Courses in detail
Change from 2025 on
From 2025, the previous Advanced Course Face will be offered as a Specialised Course, which has been expanded in terms of content to include new aspects of the treatment of facial nerve palsies.
Participation is possible even without completing the F.O.T.T.® Ground Course. Regular work with neurological patients is required.
